Ink Pot Hand-Carved Eraser Stamp

A rectangular piece of paper is imprinted in black with an image of a small jar of ink. The carved eraser stamp that made the impression lays face-up on the upper right corner of the print. The interior of the ink pot has been painted in with a shimmer ink. The background is blue-green decorative paper with gold metallic lines. The view is angled somewhat from the lower left corner.

Joystick Hand-Carved Eraser Stamp

A rectangular piece of white paper in landscape format is imprinted in black with and angled view of an old-style home computer joystick. The cord from the joystick coils irregularly away from the joystick, then turns into a rectangular border around the print. The carved eraser that made the print it face-up on the upper right corner of the print. Both are sitting on a surface of bright red paper.

I have a couple of very old joysticks in this style, but I also have one that was newly-produced to go with the new Commodore 64 Ultimate. I thought it would make for a cool eraser stamp. I started with a quick phone photo at the angle I thought I wanted. I used that as a reference to draw a simplified version in Inkscape, then printed and transferred it to the eraser for carving.

Jiji Hand-Carved Eraser Stamp

Dragon Head Hand-Carved Eraser Stamp

Hand-Carved Princess Mononoke Mask Eraser Stamp

A stylized wolf mask from the animated movie Princess Mononoke with a rectangular border has been stamped onto a rectangle of paper. The mask is a circle with circles for eyes and mouth. A couple of curved lines across the mask hint at eyebrows and nose. The circular face is surrounded by a shaggy mane and topped by two animal ears. Below the mask are three pointy objects reminiscent of horns on a necklace. The carved eraser stamp that made the impression is face up on one corner of the print. A red-handled lino cutting knife and the corner of a stamp pad are also visible.

Hand-Carved Soot Sprite Eraser Stamp

Celtic Fox Print
